The easiest way to turn a dream into reality is one step at a time:
  • Identify your dream and break it up into manageable steps. Choose one thing to get done everyday. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

  • Identify what scares you most. Ask yourself: What’s the worst thing that could happen if I face this fear? Write down the worst-case scenario. Imagine yourself channeling the fear and using it as fuel. Change your limiting beliefs with confidence that you have the ability to achieve your dreams.

  • Identify a small reward for yourself once you’ve accomplished each activity. Perhaps you share your journey with a friend and support each other. Then you can both celebrate and reward yourselves along the way.

  • Then just do it. Complete and check that task off your list with a gold star. And don't forget to look back to see how far you've come. You deserve to celebrate your efforts along the way!

  • Repeat the above steps as many times as necessary and watch yourself get happier and healthier by pursuing what you love.


For a week, try to practice prioritizing around your dream each day and notice the changes with your thoughts, emotions and feelings. See if you can notice yourself to feel more inspired, energized and happy.

There are a million reasons why we put our dreams on hold. Perhaps you think that once you finish your to-do list you'll have time to focus on your ambition. If you haven't already noticed, you'll soon realize that this approach of getting everything else done will never get you closer to your desired goal. Why? Because the to-do list never ends and the time is never just right. So don't wait!


Change your approach


Instead, move your dream up on your priority list. Carve time out at the top of the week and top of the day. Decide how much time you will spend on the activity. Treat your priority like like a meeting; write it in your calendar, set an alarm 15 minutes prior to your ideal start time and be mentally and physically ready. This is how you become the priority in your life to make your dreams happen.
